Corfu Town can be very warm in the daytime and the evenings can offer a welcome respite from the heat of the sun.

There are many, many restaurants to choose from for your evening meal - most with outside seating so you can join in with the local’s favourite pastime: people watching.

If your emphasis is on shopping/site-seeing then maximise your time by choosing one of Corfu Town’s many Greek fast food outlets where you can enjoy (prepared before you) tasty pitas with giros filled with spicy tomato sauce and chips. Or cheese pies, little juicy pork souvlaki with slabs of bread; enjoy these with an ice cold beer then continue with your site-seeing.
